- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Ghee butter Oil / / Clarified (Optional)
To be ground to paste
- 2 Onion big Chopped
- 2 - 3 cloves Garlic cloves
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 cup Coriander leaves Chopped
- 4 - 5 green chillies (adjust to suit your heat tolerance)
Instructions
- Grind the onion, garlic, ginger, coriander leaves and chilies together to form a fine paste .
- Mix this paste with beef along with vinegar and salt.
- Keep aside for a couple of hours (those in a hurry can cook within 15 minutes as well:-) ).
- If using oil/ghee, heat it in a pan and gently add the beef into the oil, along with the marinade.
- Saute for a minute or two.
- Cover and cook till the beef is done.
- You can also cook in a pressure cooker as well, the frying part can be omitted. Once the beef is done, check if there's any liquid remaining.
- If so, turn the heat to high and cook till the liquid is evaporated.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and finely sliced green chillies.
