Any person who loves his/her Idlis, Dosas and Vadas could not possibly eat it without the chutney. The varieties of chutney that can be served with Idli/Dosa/Vada is endless. You can find a few of those Chutney recipes here. As J prefers chutneys with coconut, I make them more often. The recipe I’m sharing is one of the easiest Coconut Chutneys that I make, that too with very few ingredients.
- 1 cup Grated fresh coconut
- 3-4 shallots
- 1-2 Chopped green chillies
- to taste Salt
- Thin slice Ginger
- Put all the ingredients into a grinder. Add water according to the consistency you require.
- Grind to a smooth, fine paste.
- Serve immediately.
