Goda Masala is a popular Maharashtrian spice blend, which is commonly used in Maharashtrian cuisine.

Instructions
  1. Dry fry coconut, coriander seeds and sesame seeds separately, till brown in colour. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add all the ingredients except corinader seeds, coconut and sesame seeds.
  4. Fry till they turn dark brown in colour and aroma starts filling the air.
  5. Switch off heat and let cool.
  6. Put all the ingredients in a grinder and grind to a fine powder.
  7. Transfer to an airtight container.
  8. This powder stores upto 3 months.

    This is so cool. I love spices and I enjoy trying different combinations. I tried a recipe of Garam Masala (http://adrianlupsa.wordpress.com/2013/04/18/garam-masala/) and used it for Indian Potatoes. It was something new for me. Now I can try something different. Thanks for sharing!
