Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons coconut Grated
  • 7 tablespoons Coriander seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds White
  • 2 tablespoons Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • 1 Star anise
  • 8 Cloves
  • 2 cardamom Black
  • 1 red chilli Dried
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves (Optional)

Instructions
 

  • Dry fry coconut, coriander seeds and sesame seeds separately, till brown in colour. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add all the ingredients except corinader seeds, coconut and sesame seeds.
  • Fry till they turn dark brown in colour and aroma starts filling the air.
  • Switch off heat and let cool.
  • Put all the ingredients in a grinder and grind to a fine powder.
  • Transfer to an airtight container.
  • This powder stores upto 3 months.
