Chicken Cafreal, a traditional Goan dish, which is not only tasty but also easy to prepare. The dish can be used as a starter as well as a side dish.

Ingredients
To be ground to a paste
Instructions
  1. Grind all the ingredients into a fine paste.
  2. Marinate the chicken with the ground paste.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.
  4. Heat butter in a pan.
  5. When hot, add the chicken and toss.
  6. Cover and cook on low flame.
  7. Add a dollop of butter and mix well.
  8. Cook till the chicken is done.
  9. You may add a little more butter before taking off the heat.
  10. Serve hot.
