Dukra Maas/ Bafat Pork
As a child, I wasn’t particularly fond of pork dishes because I used to dislike the fat. This continued till I went to college. During my studies in Mangalore, I used to visit my aunt during weekends. During one such visit, a pork curry was prepared. I was a bit hesitant to have it but still went ah
  1. Marinate the pork with rest of the ingredients.
  2. Let it rest for at least an hour. The more, the better.
  3. Cover and cook the pork on low heat, till it is tender and the fat starts floating on top.
  4. Adjust the seasoning to suit your taste.
  5. Switch off heat.
  6. Serve with Roti, Rice or Sannas.
  7. I didn’t add any water. But if you wish, you could add water while the pork is cooking.
