Ingredients
  • 500gms Chicken Liver
  • 1tablespoon Chilli garlicpaste (recipe follows)
  • 1 – 1/2teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 1 onionbig Chopped
  • 1teaspoon Garlicpaste
  • 1 Spring onionsliced fine
  • 2 – 3 Green chillies(cut into pieces)
  • 1 Capsicumchopped
  • 1teaspoon Chillipowder – (adjust according to your taste)
  • 2 – 3tablespoons Oil
  • as required Salt
For Chilli-garlic paste
Instructions
  1. Soak the chillies in warm water for 10 minutes and drain.Grind them with garlic, salt, sugar and vinegar into a fine paste.Keep aside.This is a rather spicy paste.So use only as much as you require.
  2. Marinate the liver with 1 tablespoon chilli-garlic paste and 1 teaspoon soy sauce.Keep aside for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.Fry the liver pieces on high heat till the oil separates.
  4. Remove the liver pieces to a plate.Reserve the oil
  5. Add more oil to this if required.Heat the oil and add the chopped onion.Saute till they turn translucent.
  6. Add the garlic paste and stir till the raw smell goes.Add the spring onions followed by capsicum.Saute for a minute.
  7. Add chili powder.Stir well
  8. Add 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce along with the fried liver pieces and mix well.Fry for a minute or two.Sprinkle salt and mix well.Switch off the heat.
  9. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with finely sliced spring onion or green chilies.
