Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Pinch and remove the dirt off the clam meat.
  2. Rinse a few times and drain.
  3. Take the clam meat in an earthen pot.
  4. Add salt, turmeric powder and a few curry leaves and mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, till the clam meat is cooked through and the liquid is evaporated.
  6. Coarsely grind the coconut, dried chillies and garlic and keep aside.
  7. Heat oil in a pan.
  8. Add the crushed shallots, garlic and curry leaves and stir for a few seconds.
  9. Add the coriander powder, chilli powder and pepper powder and mix well.
  10. Add the cooked clam meat, followed by the ground coconut mixture. Mix well.
  11. Cook for another few minutes.
  12. Switch off heat and serve hot with Rice.
