Homemade Sour Cream

A hassle free way to prepare Sour Cream at home


  • 1 cup Heavy cream - ( I used Amul cream)
  • 1 tablespoon Curd/ Vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt


  • Mix the cream, salt and curd/vinegar together.
  • Let stand in room temperature for 24 hours or till thickened.
  • Chill before using.
