Crispy Okra with Peanuts and Cashewnuts
Here's the recipe of�Crispy Okra with Peanuts and Cashew nuts, that can be served as a starter or a side dish Crispy Okra with Peanuts and Cashew nuts
- 250 gms Okra Lady ' s finger / cut into small roundels
- 1 onion Chopped
- - 5 cloves garlic Crushed
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- handful Peanuts - a
- 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts
- 3/4 teaspoon Chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon mango powder Dry (amchoor powder)
- to taste Salt
Roast the peanuts and cashewnuts and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan. When hot, deep fry the okra roundls till crispy. Drain to an absorbent paper. Keep aside.
Take two tablespoons oil and put into another pan. Saute the onions till they wilt. Add the curry leaves and crushed garlic and saute for a minute.
Add the chilli, turmeric and dry mango powder and fry for a few seconds.
Add the okra, salt, peanuts and cashewnuts and toss well.
Switch off heat and serve hot.
