Chicken Liver Pepper Fry
Chicken Liver Pepper fry is an easy to make dish. This dish can be served as a starter as well as a side dish. You can adjust the pepper powder to suit your liking. Also, make sure not to stir the liver too much as they will break.
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 2 sprigs Curry leaves
- 1 medium size Chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Fennel powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 500 gms Chicken Liver
- to taste Salt
Heat pan on medium
Add 3 tablespoons oil
When the oil is hot, add curry leaves
Add the chopped onion and cook till light brown in colour
Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes.
Add coriander powder and stir for a few seconds
Add the chilli powder, fennel powder, pepper powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Cook for a few seconds
Add the liver and mix well. Do NOT over mix. Else the liver pieces will break.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Give a stir in between.
Add salt and mix well.
Let cook for another 5 minutes.
Switch off heat and serve hot
