Goan Recheado Fish Fry

  • 4 Mackerel Cleaned Whole
  • 5 tablespoons Masala Recheado


  • Make incisions on either sides of the fish.
  • Apply Recheado Masala generously on the fish.
  • Make sure to apply the masala in the incisions as well.
  • If using sooner, marinating at least for an hour.
  • Or else, marinate and leave it overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • When the oil is oil, place the fish.
  • Fry till it is cooked and turns dark brown in colour.
  • Flip the fish and fry till cooked through.
  • Serve hot.
