Mashed Potatoes

  • 4 Potatoes big
  • 1 - 1/2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cream
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Pepper powder


  • Cook the potatoes well.
  • Mash the potatoes.
  • Heat a pan.
  • Tip in the cream and butter and cook on low heat till butter is melted.
  • Add the mashed potatoes and blend well.
  • Make sure that the potato is mashed smoothly. No lumps should be there.
  • Add salt and pepper powder and mix well.
  • If you want a more liquidy texture, you may add more cream or milk.
  • The mixture will be a bit mushy.
  • Continue cooking on low heat, stirring, till you get a smooth mixture that doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
  • Switch off heat.
  • Serve warm.
