Soak the rice till it becomes soft enough to grind (2-3 hours).
Grind the rice with grated cococnut and salt to a smooth fine paste. Add water to ease the grinding.
Transfer the contents to a big vessel.
Add water to form a thin, watery consistency.
Heat an iron or any pan.
Apply a thin coat of oil on the pan.
When the pan is hot, pour a ladle of the batter into the pan.
Allow to cook, without covering.
Once the dosa is cooked, fold it into half and fold again.
Transfer to a serving plate.
Continue the process with the entire batter.
Serve hot with any curry of your choice.
