- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (I used Amul butter)
- 1/2 cup Sugar (powder the sugar)
- 1/2 cup Almonds (Skinned) (finely ground)
- 1/3 cup Flour
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt (I omitted this as I used salted butter)
- 3 Egg whites
- 1/3 cup Honey
Preheat oven to 180C. Cut butter into pieces and heat them in a pan till it turns brown in colour. Make sure it doesn't burn.
Strain into a clean bowl and keep aside. Whisk flour, powdered sugar, almond powder and salt (if using) together.
Add egg whites and mix well. Gradually add the butter followed by honey to form a thick and smooth batter.
Pour into muffin moulds/pans. Bake for 12-16 minutes or till they are golden brown and are firm to the touch.
Let it cool completely before un-molding.
Enjoy with your hot cuppa :-).
