Aloo-Phali Sabji (Potato-Long beans Stir fry)
Travelling all over the country and getting to taste a wide variety of different Indian cuisines has been one of the best things of being married to someone with a transferable job. With so much of variety you couldn't ask for more.Aloo Phali Sabji is one easy to make sabji I caught on along the way
- 3/4 cup beans Chopped Long (Phali)
- 2 potatoes Diced
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 2 Onion chopped
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder (heaped)
- 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
Heat oil in a pan . Saute the onions till golden brown.
Add the tomotoes, followed by coriander powder, chilli powder and turmeric powder and fry till the tomatoes turns mushy and oil separates.
Add the potatoes and long beans with salt. Stir well
Cover and cook on low flame till the vegetables are cooked through.
Serve with rice or roti.
