Mutton Cutlets

Cutlets...One of my favourite snacks since my childhood days. It happens to be J and D's favourite too!! This is one those snack items where none of is satisfied by having just 2 or 3. The more the better. So much that even if it is served as meal, it would be welcomed heartily. These Cutlets can be

  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 potatoes Boiled and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves

For Crumb coating

  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (or as required)

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion till they turn pink in colour.

  • Serve with Onion Salad (recipe given below) or sauce .
  • For Onion salad
  • Take some water in a bowl and put the sliced onions in it. Squeeze nicely and strain it.
  • This is done to remove the pungency of the onions (You can omit this step if you like your onions pungent).
  • Add salt and vinegar to the onions and mix well. Salad is ready.

I used crushed cornflakes as I ran out of breadcrumbs ;-)
