Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion till they turn pink in colour.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes. Add all the spice powders and stir for a minute.
Mix in the meat along with salt and cover and cook, stirring between, till the meat is done. Tip in the mashed potatoes and coriander leaves and stir well and switch off heat. Let cool.
Take a bit of the mixture in your hands and shape them. Continue till the whole mixture is shaped.
Dip each cutlet in the beaten egg and immediately roll them in the breadcrumbs till all sides are coated evenly.
Keep aside. Heat oil and fry the cutlets till golden brown. Drain onto absorbant paper.
Serve with Onion Salad (recipe given below) or sauce .
For Onion salad
Take some water in a bowl and put the sliced onions in it. Squeeze nicely and strain it.
This is done to remove the pungency of the onions (You can omit this step if you like your onions pungent).
Add salt and vinegar to the onions and mix well. Salad is ready.
