Stir Fried Mung Bean Sprouts
Mung bean sprouts are the most widely consumed sprouts around the world. - 1 cup Bean sprouts
- 1 onion Chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger Grated
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- pinch Asafoetida a
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice
- 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin seeds..
Add the asafoetida and stir for a few seconds.
Add onion and saute till translucent.
Add grated ginger and stir for 30 seconds.
Tip in the turmeric powder and stir well.
Add the sprouts along with salt and mix well.
Cover and let cook.
If required, you can add a tablespoon of water.
Add lime juice.
Check the seasoning.
Switch off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves.
